The New Addition

As the next significant step in the development of the Perry House, the Foundation was pleased to learn in 2006 that State Representative John Harkins was successful in securing a State Urban Action Grant of $225,000, to fund an addition that will house a catering kitchen and handicapped restroom facilities at the Perry House. This grant was made available through the State Department of Community and Economic Development. The addition of these facilities will significantly expand the functional capability of the Perry House. The new addition was completed in 2015 to include a community room and restaurant-grade kitchen.
